One of the most outstanding features of LinguisticsNetwork is our platform for you, as an instructor member, to create your own exercises and tutorials specific to your courses. These materials will be posted in the designated content area, and will be available to all LinguisticsNetwork subscribers.
Your documents will bear your name and academic institution affiliation, and will be posted in a format, therefore thwarting the ability to be copied.*
Submissions for tutorials must be sent as a word document. All graphics, charts, tables, etc., must be included in the text embedded in the desired location. We suggest that tutorials be no longer than 2-3 pages. You may also include briefer tutorials to be embedded in a primary text. You can indicate where to embed these by bolding the word in the text that will serve as a link.

Submissions for self-correcting exercises must also be sent as a word document. All exercises will commence with a brief description of the task, clear instructions, as well as examples, as needed.
You will have the option of 3 formats:
- True/False
- Multiple Choice Response (in which more than one answer may be selected as ‘correct’), which includes fill-in-the-blank responses. These questions may have up to 4 response choices.
- Single Response (This includes syntactic trees, more lengthy responses, etc.)
After creating the prompt, or exercise question, you will select the correct answer. You must also create explanations for each incorrect response. In the event that you create a ‘single response’ question, the one response must be marked as the correct one. No other explanations are required.
