Our tutorials are written by linguistics professors and teaching assistants who are in the classroom working with students on a regular basis. They have first-hand experience with the concepts that are the most difficult to grasp, the questions that are most commonly asked, and the background knowledge that students need that is not often offered in textbooks. Tutorials are created as undergraduate, introductory level explanations of broad subjects such as ‘An Introduction to Phonetics’ as well as more focused subjects such as ‘Syntactic Constituents’.
